Taklobo Restaurant is just one of the many attractions at Jack’s Ridge.

My family usually drops by at Taklobo Restaurant at least once a year. However, we haven’t dined there for like two years. So when my papa attended a function at Jack’s Ridge earlier tonight, my mom decided to bring us along so we can have dinner at Taklobo as well. The food here is pretty good. In fact I’d dare say that Taklobo is one of the best restaurants here in Davao in terms of quality and pricing. The Chicken Barbecue is one of Taklobo’s house specialties – and it easily ranks among the best i’ve tasted, but they also have several other dishes that can satisfy your taste buds too.
Unlike other restaurants however, Taklobo offers more than just fine dining. Since Jack’s Ridge is located at the top of the Shrine Hills in Matina, Taklobo provides a wonderful view of Davao City and Samal Island while customers are dining or waiting for their food.
Anyways, here are some pictures I took of the restaurant as well as the menu and of course, the yummy dishes we ordered.

The Food

Inihaw na Pusit. Sizzling pusit is always better, but this one is pretty good though. In fact I gobbled this up by my lonesome. I think.

The famous Kinilaw.

Chicken Barbecue. One of the house specialties in Taklobo. I’ve had chicken barbecue in several other estaurants in Davao and I must say that this one is the best.

Sizzling Chicken. Garnished with potatoes, carrots and mushrooms. Very yummy.
